Metasearch

Metasearch Isn't Advertising. It's Distribution.

Capture high-intent travelers at the moment they're ready to book.

A guest comparing your hotel on Google, trivago or Tripadvisor has stopped browsing and started choosing. Results are ordered by price, so what wins that line isn't your budget — it's your rate, your availability, and the page the click lands on. All three come from Simple Booking.

Where You Appear

Organic. Paid. One Rate.

Metasearch isn't one placement. It's two, they cost completely different things, and both read the same rates and availability from your booking engine.

Top positions on Google Hotel Ads, Tripadvisor and trivago while the guest is still planning — bought when you want them, on the dates you need them. Run them yourself, keep your agency on them, or let us manage them.

Directly and natively connected to the three platforms that decide most comparisons — Google Hotel Ads, Tripadvisor and trivago — and a Premium Partner of all three. Prefer to work through a dedicated metasearch management platform? We're already integrated with the ones most hotels use.

Price Is the Ranking

You Don't Outbid the Channels. You Outprice Them.

Every metasearch result is ordered by price. That one fact decides whether your spend buys a booking or buys a guest for somebody else: if a channel shows the same room for twelve euros less, you have just paid for a click that ends on their checkout — and you'll pay 15–25% commission on every night of the stay that follows.

  • The rate that appears is the rate your engine is selling

Not a copy of it, and not a feed rebuilt on a schedule: the same live price, read the moment it's asked for. There's no second listing to maintain, and no window in which what Google shows and what you sell are two different numbers.

  • One inventory, not one per surface

The same availability that feeds your website and 130+ distribution channels feeds the metasearch listing, so you're never advertising a room you've already sold.

  • If you run a loyalty club, member rates go in the comparison too

Rates reserved for your members can be published to Google Hotel Ads as member rates — a lower price in the ranking that never touches the public rate your parity agreements cover. And the guest doesn't need an account yet: they can join during the booking and unlock the rate on the spot. Few booking engines can do either half of that.

  • Rate Match keeps that line from being undercut

Every guest search triggers a live check against the major OTAs, and the price of your cheapest comparable room is corrected within seconds — automatically, inside limits you set.

What Changed

No Feed, No Campaigns.

Google recently changed what it takes to run Performance Max campaigns for local business and Maps placements: they now require Hotel Ads connectivity and live rate and availability data published to Google Hotel Center. Without it, those campaigns aren't available to you at all. Which means metasearch connectivity has stopped being a metasearch decision — it's the entry requirement for advertising you're probably already paying for.

Connectivity, or the Whole Thing.

We can run them for you — or you can run them yourself, with whichever product or partner suits you best. Either way you're on all the major platforms.

Connectivity and exposure

We publish your live rates and availability to Google Hotel Center and the metasearch platforms, and put you on the free booking links. You keep the campaigns — or the agency you already work with does. On Tripadvisor and trivago that's how most hotels run it: those consoles are built for the hotel to drive.

Managed end to end

We run them: metasearch campaigns, Performance Max for hotels, Google Ads, Meta ads. The feed and the spend in the same hands, which removes the handoff where most of the waste happens.

After the Click

The Click Is the Cheap Part.

A click costs you once. A booking that leaks to a channel costs you 15–25% of every night, for the whole stay. What decides which one you get is the page the click lands on — and that page is your booking engine, not a landing page.

  • The guest arrives where they left off

The room and the dates they searched, at the price they were shown.

  • 27 languages, 74 currencies

Whoever compared in Portuguese books in Portuguese, and sees the total in their own currency.

  • The total price from the first screen

Taxes and cancellation terms visible before they're asked for — the one thing a comparison shopper is scanning for.

  • The right number of steps — not the fewest

Every step exists for a reason, asks for the least data it can, and preselects what it already knows.

  • Mobile-first, even on slow connections

Most comparing happens on a phone, and rarely on good Wi-Fi.

  • Direct-only perks next to the rate

Where parity ties the price, free cancellation on your terms, upgrades and member benefits are still yours alone.

Inside the Booking Engine
Measurement

Spend You Can Attribute.

Metasearch is the one channel where you can know what a booking cost you. That only works if the numbers come from one place.

  • Native Google Analytics

Traffic sources, on-site behavior and campaign performance in one view — not three exports that disagree with each other.

  • Consent handled, not ignored

A built-in, customizable consent mode measures visits and campaign results while respecting what each guest actually agreed to.

  • Cost, clicks and conversions per platform

See what each surface returns, and move the budget to the one that pays.

  • One booking, counted once

The booking engine that receives the click is the one that records the revenue, so the channel that earned it is the channel that gets credited.
